Upper Canada Village is a heritage park near Morrisbourg, Ontario, depicting a 19th-century village. Ten communities in the area, known as "The Lost Villages" were saved part of the project's heritage preservation plan. Many of the buildings in Upper Canada Village were transported directly from the villages to be flooded. Upper Canada Village endeavours to depict life in a rural English Canadian setting during the year 1866. Featured at the site are over 40 historical buildings, including several working mills (woollen mill, grist-mill and sawmill) and trades buildings (blacksmith, tinsmith, cabinetmaker, cooper, bakery, cheese-maker) all demonstrated by staff dressed in clothing of the period. Go back to the 1860s and spend a day with the villagers!

Italian Adventures in Picturesque Positano - the smell of Lemon & Salt I was lucky to explore the Amalfi Coast as I was shooting a Destination Wedding at the time. Breathtaking winding narrow vistas with houses tumbling down to the glamorous beach. A southern-Italian holiday feel about the place, with pretty villas bathed in a golden light and bougainvilleas hanging over terraces like exotic jewels. To explore Positano you must scale steep flights of stairs, inhaling the scent of lemons along the way, it will be totally worth the effort. Enchanting paradise! A place unlike others, I will never forget. A colourful cliffside village to make the gloomiest person happy.
