George Eastman Entrepreneur and Philanthropist (July 12, 1854 – March 14, 1932) was an American pioneer of popular Photography who founded the Eastman Kodak, bringing Photography to the mainstream.
Visiting the world's oldest Photography Museum in Rochester NY simply connected the past to the present. What truly impressed me was stepping into an Obscura Camera (room 10x10) which put so much into perspective. It was fascinating to explore his historic mansion a landmark built in 1902 and see how he lived. Net worth: USD $95 million at the time of his unfortunate death (approximately $1.5 billion in 2017) A suicide note was found "My work is done, why wait" ending his legacy.
